SBI clerk Recruitment 2017

There is a huge demand for SBI Clerk posts all over the India when it comes to the banking sector. Candidates who are going to apply for this SBI Recruitment 2017 Notification need to have degree qualification (Graduation Level) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university / Institution. Beside education qualification must have ability to read write and speak in english. If you have known local language it will be added an extra advantage.

Amount Payable for registration fee:
All the candidates who belong to general/OBC need to pay Rs.600/. Candidates who are SC/ST/PWD need to pay Rs.100/- only. Candidates may choose paying of application whether in offline mode or online mode. Through online mode use Net banking / Debit card / Credit card. Through offline mode you can pay at any branches of state bank of india (SBI) after the registration of application form.

Responsibilities

1. Handling deposit and withdrawal cash is the primary work of the clerk. Along with that clerk also undertakes the receipt of cheques, drafts, dividend warrants, and pay orders.

2.Payment clearance works like Verify cheques, issue demand drafts, etc.

3. Maintain a daily record of balance.

4. Perform various back office works like receipts collection, ledger maintenance, balance tally, data entry, issue ESI stamps, typing other necessary bank information served to the customers, etc.

5. Issue cheque books after authentication of clients.

6.In some of the bank clerk also plays a significant role in the marketing of financial products of the Bank such as loans, mutual funds, deposits, schemes, etc. this is the summary of ibps clerk job description.
