Payscale: Rs.9300 – 34800 plus grade pay of Rs.4200 plus other central govt allowances

Who Are Eligible?

Unlike other public sector recruitments the intelligence bureau has prescribed only few qualifications,

  • Age to be within 18 – 27 years as on Sep 2, 2017 (+5yrs for sc/st, +3yrs for obc)
  • Pass in graduation from a recognized university
  • Computer knowledge is a desirable qualification.
  • Students waiting for final results or haven’t received degree before September 2 are not eligible to apply for Intelligence bureau executives recruitment 2017.

Process of Selection:

As part of the selection procedure of Intelligence bureau ACIO exectuives recruitment 2017, the written examination consists of the following pattern:

  • Tier I (objective) for 100 marks
  • Tier II (descriptive) for 50 marks

The Tier I shall contain objective type questions from General awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Logical/ analytical ability & English language.The test has to be answered in 60 minutes.


For each wrong answer in the objective test, 0.25 marks will be reduced as negative mark.Only those candidates, who secure the necessary marks in Tier I will qualify for the Tier II examination.

Registration Fees:

The fee of Rs.100 (gen/obc) can be paid online or in cash at any State Bank of India branch using the generated challan form from 2nd day of registration.

Fees can also be remitted online as well but you must posses only SBI internet banking/ debit/ ATM card.

All female candidates & those belonging to SC/ ST categories need not pay exam/ registration fees as they are completely exempted from it.

Individuals making payment via cash must verify their status of payment after 2 working days by logging into your application.
